Our dog friendly hotel in Dumfries and Galloway, Scotland.

As a dog friendly Scottish country house hotel we always welcome well behaved and fully house trained dogs to Mabie House Hotel, although this is limited to a selection of our rooms. Dogs are also welcome to stay with their master in one of our Continental Camping Huts, at no additional charge. However we do ask that these facilities are not used as kennels and dogs are not left unattended at any time.

Please note that dogs will not be allowed into the restaurants areas and you must let us know in advance if you wish to bring your dog. Please note that any damage to the room or any heavy soiling will be charged for over and above our standard £10.00 per stay charge.  We request that dogs are not allowed on any beds or furniture and you bring bedding, feed and water bowls, utensils and food.

Mabie House has always been a dog friendly establishment and lends itself to pet lovers.  With an enviable position on the edge of Mabie Forest with its vast array of paths and walks which are traffic free,
staying at Mabie House Hotel allows you and your dog to relax and explore the surrounding landscape safely, to your hearts content.
 
The paths within Mabie Forest are havens for many forms of wildlife.  You may see Red squirrel, Buzzards, Roe deer and owls amongst others as you walk. Don't worry though as the wildlife here at Mabie are well used to cyclist and walkers passing by, allowing them to be quite relaxed also!
