The views from my room (5) were spectacular, the hotel itself is a magnificent old building and the staff are very efficient, kind and relaxed. Everybody gets married here, it is a spectacular setting if you want peace and quiet, great food , a bar and a lovely front room with a fireplace. Though the house is old,with wonderful stained glass windows, the bathrooms have been updated, so you get the best of both worlds, the rooms were large, the furniture and beds comfy. and the place was very clean, with coffee and tea in the rooms. Basil the parrot welcomes you as you go up the stairs. I sampled breakfast, lunch and dinner there and was very pleased. Save room for dessert! Thank you!
