Mabie House Hotel is located in the most picturesque setting. We viewed a few other local venues before booking Mabie for our big day, and it was not a difficult decision. I got ready in the beautiful bridal/honeymoon suite which was so spacious and the views were to die for. It was so nice getting to spy on our guests arriving. We had our ceremony outside on the giant grass lawn. The sun was shining and everything was taken care of by the brilliant staff and wedding coordinators. A special thanks go to Phillipa, Sam and Hazel who made us feel like nothing was a hassle. They have been organising weddings at Mabie for many years and it shows. They had everything absolutely under control and all we needed to do was turn up! Then onto the reception in the massive fixed structure marquee called The Pavillion. There was ample room within for our 150+ guests by evening and again the staff could not have been more accommodating. We danced and drank the night away without a care in the world! We couldn't imagine a better place to have spent our special day.
